Course Objectives The course aims to inculcate disaster management knowledge and field skills in students, to enable them to reduce risks, prepare, mitigate and respond to man-made and natural disasters with reference to the environment. The students will be able to know various types of human dimensions of environmental change, the mitigation of environmental degradation and national and international policies and planning to vulnerable reduction measures related to environmental disasters.
