Course Objectives To provide an understanding of the importance and performance of guided weapons as a means of delivering a warhead.
Detail Content Missile aerodynamics, structure and propulsion (reaction thrust and jet propulsion, rockets and air breathers). Guidance; the need, types and classification. Homing and command navigation. Missile control: canards, thrust vector control. Rate gyros and accelerometers for control. Power supplies, generators and batteries
