Course Objectives
This course introduces the student to the influence that consumer behavior has on marketing activities. Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to explain and apply the key terms, definitions, and concepts used in the study of consumer behavior. You should demonstrate how as a marketer you can use your knowledge of consumer behavior concepts to develop better marketing programs and strategies to influence those behaviors. You should be able to critically evaluate the effectiveness of various advertisement and promotions and their attempts to influence the behaviors of individuals.

Students will apply theoretical concepts to marketing strategies and decision-making. Topics include consumer and marketing segments, environmental influences, individual determinants, decision processes, information research and evaluation.
