Course Objectives
No machine or structure is possible without various joints between similar or different materials. This course will familiarize students with many techniques used in joining. Major emphasis will be on joining methods for metallic and non-metallic components using mechanical methods, welding, brazing, soldering, diffusion bonding etc.
