- Practical hands on experience on ADS for the design of Microwave Low noise amplifier, oscillators, mixers and RF
- Practical design of microwave amplifiers and oscillators / microwave measurements.

- Introduction of Microwave Technology:
Microwave Transmission Lines, The quarter wave transformer, Lossy transmission lines, Two port Net works. Measurement of Scattering Parameters, Scattering Parameters of transistor.
- Matching Networks:
Smith chart, Impedance Matching Networks, Microstrip Matching Networks. ADS tools for the design of matching networks.
- Microwave Transistor Amplifier Design
Power gain equations, Stability consideration, Gain Circles, Conjugate match, DC bias network. Use of ADS tools for the design of amplifier blocks.
- Low Noise Microwave Amplifier Design
Noise , Broad Band and High Power design methods. Low Noise Amplifier Design using ADS, Fabrication techniques/testing of LNA
Power Amplifier Design

- power Amplifier Design, Two stage Amplifier design. Use of ADS tools for the design of amplifier.
- Microwave Transistor Oscillator Design:.
Oscillator Conditions, Two-Port Negative Resistance Oscillator, Oscillator Configuration, Dielectric resonator oscillator, Varactor Tuned Oscillator. Use of ADS tools for the design of oscillator.
- RF Transceiver Design
Mixer Design, Cascaded Mixer design and RF Transceiver Design using ADS design tool.
