Course Objectives
  • The course is intended for the students with background qualifications of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.
  • It gives a comprehensive overview of a wide range of communication systems and networks, including voice, data, video and multimedia.
  • The goal of this course is to provide foundations for understanding system, network technologies and standards, their origins and evolutions and the applications they serve.
  • The course covers wide range of topics from fundamental concepts through the convergence of voice and data networks and the information superhighway.
